Discovering and Introducing a Literary Genre,
Interviewer: Farhad Karimi. Oman (fāl) is a popular writing which you have worked on with a poetic view. Did you want in your book, Shākh-e Nabāt, to detach Hafez’s omens from their popular condition?
It seems most likely that I am doing so. But to tell the truth, I am not into it, because I feel no intermediary responsibility to change the current condition of existents. I make my own favorite situation, an intermediary one. This is where the state of popular enters the elite literature and vice versa.
