Performance of the Virtual Female (performed in Tehran and Paris) The Virtual Female is a collection of poetic performances and songs in which certain tones and performing methods of ruhawzi (a particular type of Persian play) music and minstrelsy are referred to with a sense of feminist satire. The pieces are mostly solo performances accompanied by a setar or Dayereh.The first performance was done in private in Tehran, winter 2016, and the second in April 2019, in The Magic of Spring Swallows Festival, Paris.
